The Utah Office of Ethnic Affairs, the Utah State Office of Education & School Districts are pleased to invite you to their Education Conference "It Takes a Village: A Network of Support – Empowering Parents in the Education of their Children.". The conference will be held November 8, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in West High School, 241 North 300 West Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Education Conference is for Parents, Students, Educators and Community Members are interested in "Successfully Educating Ethnic Minority Students"
Continental Breakfast and Lunch are included.
Thanks to direct participation of our sponsors the conference is FREE.
Translation services are being arranged. Please answer the question about which language is spoken at home. Spanish is a language frequently spoken in Utah, so therefore sessions will be provided in Spanish. Other languages will be provided in case there is at least 20 participants requesting a language other than English and Spanish.
